F2000 Airsoft
- A modern combat sport in which participants eliminate their opponents by hitting them with spherical non-metallic pellets launched from a compressed-air gun
- Airsoft is primarily a recreational activity with replica firearms that shoot plastic BBs that are often used for personal collection, gaming (similar to paintball), or professional training purposes (military simulations, a.k.a. MilSim, and police training exercises).
- Airsoft refers to a class of replica air powered guns that originated from Japan (although the origins go back to the US in the 70s). The power levels are way below those of traditional airguns, but the guns are 1:1 scale copies of original pistols, rather than original designs.
- The FN F2000 is a 5.56x45mm NATO bullpup assault rifle, designed by FN Herstal in Belgium. The F2000 made its debut in March 2001 at the IDEX defense exhibition held in Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates.
F2000 Custom
This is a gun I usually hate working with, because I don't really like too much "Organic curvature" or ergonomic shaping or a lot of the design trends that influence the original weapon, and its hard to boil that down when it's one huge receiver you can't split up. But, I trudged through, and finally made a custom F2000. The only thing I kept was, ironically, the receiver. I added a new handguard, and moved the system to the back of gun, where the receiver was boxed off and the bottom removed mostly. It isn't a very strong finished project, but I'm just glad something came of it.
F2000 Mod
Concept:
A mod for the F2000 (produced by FNH)whereby the barrel is changed out, (Railings have been added to the handguard in version which are Produced with this mod) An Improved gas block and piston is added, sights have been changed on a vote made by soldiers. The weapon can now accept specialised magazines (simliar to the HK417 one's) to fire the 7.62X54.
This one wasn't all that hard. Defenitely not one of my greatest but i made it.
